FlowOS & Base Utilities Terms

Last updated June 23, 2026

Supplement Notice: These terms supplement the Foxx Development Inc. General Terms of Service. They govern your use of the FlowOS operating system and our local, zero-account base utilities, including Smart Search, Browser, and Camera.

1. FLOWOS SOFTWARE LICENSE

We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to install and use FlowOS on hardware devices manufactured or authorized by Foxx Development Inc. You shall not:

  • Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, attempt to derive the source code of, or decrypt the operating system except as permitted by applicable law.
  • Make any unauthorized modification, adaptation, or derivative work from FlowOS.
  • Use FlowOS to create a product or software that is competitive with our ecosystem.

2. BASE UTILITIES (ZERO-ACCOUNT FRAMEWORK)

Our base utility applications (Smart Search, Browser, and Camera) operate on a strict Zero-Account framework. We do not require you to log in to use these fundamental tools.

Because these applications operate locally on your device sandbox, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the backup of any photographs, bookmarks, or downloaded files generated through these apps. Foxx Development Inc. cannot recover locally stored data if your device is lost, reset, or damaged.

3. SYSTEM UPDATES AND FOTA

To ensure the security and optimal performance of your device, FlowOS is designed to periodically communicate with our servers to check for Firmware Over-The-Air (FOTA) updates. By using FlowOS, you agree that we may automatically download and install critical security patches and system updates to your device.

4. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT AND BROWSER USAGE

When using the Browser or Smart Search, you may access third-party websites and content. We do not warrant, endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any product or service advertised or offered by a third party through these utilities. Your interaction with third-party websites is entirely at your own risk and is governed by the terms and privacy policies of those respective websites.
